LIV Golf.
The Ultimate Irony.
To all you LIV supporters saying LIV is better than this. Well the numbers say different. LIV Golf’s 2023 opening tournament in Mexico, the first to be broadcast by The CW Network, averaged 286,000 viewers Saturday and 291,000 viewers Sunday, per Nielsen. And the Tuscon event had even less. The Honda Classic at the same time as Mexico had 1.6 million viewers per day on avg and 2.2 million on Sunday. LIV had 286K subs 3 weeks ago here on YT and it now down to 260K. PGA had 1.11 million 3 weeks ago and is now up to 1.12 million, growth of 100K. Real Golfers want to see 4 days of Golf. Not 3 days of has been’s and no bodies playing 54 holes on resort style courses. Crowd numbers are very small compared to the PGA.
For a company and a tour begging to be taken seriously, it seems like no one is turning in. Or paying attention. Despite all the billions handed out to all those big name golfers, things look awful a year into this experiment.
Here’s where I remind you LIV only has 14 events, so each one needs to do numbers to come close to competing with the PGA. That doesn’t look like it’s a possibility anywhere in the near future.
Almost a great highlight reel. Spieth’s drive on the 18th was missing. Other than that, it was great to fever with the performances. Keep up the good work!
Watching T Moore ho hum two putt IS NOT A HIGHLIGHT!
Great editing and video
Schenk is a very unfortunate last name for a pro golfer
New viewer… I subscribe to TSN+ to watch… is there any other way to view all players (especially leaders) instead of just featured/marquee groups?
Man I was there what a good tourney
Great seeing the pros in long pants, playing 72 holes, and finishing on the 18th hole.
